SHE SCREAMED FOR HELP! Women are invested because we all know what it’s like to not being listened to. It isn’t about tv for us, it’s about the fact that the evidence doesn’t even line up! They did not investigate the husband properly.

For me, it’s more about taking a stance on women’s rights. The amount of times we’ve been pushed away from doctors and not believed is astounding. A change needs to happen.

The issue that sticks out for me is where do we go from here? How do we prevent this from happening again? We have focus on the issue now and we must make some good come from this tragedy. We have to over haul healthcare and we must start taking mental health issues seriously and not bury them nor be embarrassed by them. It's like watching the internet go through all the phases of grief. It's so sad.

I understand what you are saying and I agree. But shouldn’t the state be 100% sure that all bases were covered? 3 babies are dead, a woman is paralyzed and they had a warrant for her arrest within 24 hours, she wasn’t even able to give a statement before they had a warrant. I didn’t start hearing about the case until a couple days ago. It seemed really rushed.

Something not being in question, is sometimes the result of not having enough information. Yes, some people make wild accusations, and that is irresponsible. However, there are a lot of people that are breaking things down by the minute and making cross comparisons that are bringing things to light NOW. While there isn’t enough information to say with certainty that her husband did it, there’s definitely enough information available to consider that in fact he was not properly investigated. just because something hasn’t come to light, doesn’t mean it isn’t valuable. It’s come to light now.

I don’t think that the majority of people who are coming to the conclusions they have is because of a subconscious belief that they can crack this case. I have a law degree myself although I’m retired and looking at this case objectively and with an analytical approach there are quite a few inconsistencies that raise questions. Secondly, I believe why so many women are relating the experience that Ms. Clancy had is because it is reflected in our own experiences and struggles with the medical community both in our physical and mental health. We are constantly dismissed, gaslighted and out symptoms are invalidated on a constant basis.

I think that for a lot of women it's highly triggering bc aside from the aspect of murdering her children, many many women have been failed by the public mental health system during PP. but I agree a lot of people are out of touch with reality and need to touch some grass

Due to the defenses stipulation on a bunch of the evidence, the prosecution didn’t have to bring that forward as evidence that she did it. So the people watching don’t understand that there’s a lot more evidence that wasn’t shared because they didn’t have to. The question is not whether she did it, but whether she was criminally liable.

The only thing I can say, is that almost 30 years ago I had PPD and PPA. I'd had 5 children prior to this and was fine after. But this cut me at the knees. It took a long time for me to recover, and I'll never be the same. I was lucky enough that I had skilled psychiatric care and I didn't have psychosis. Post partum issues have been around since the beginning of time. It's not new. we as a country are so far behind other countries in mental health treatment and understanding, and post partum issues specifically. In her situation, specifically, I think she should have life long treatment, as I don't believe she is a danger to anyone besides herself.

Look he knew she was having thoughts of harming herself and her children and he still left them alone I think he needs some responsibility for that. If my husband came to me and said he was having those thoughts I would NEVER leave them alone with him. Period.
