Did this until there was no oil left.. but I decided to remove the drain plug out of curiosity… about 1/2 to 3/4 quart of oil came out… fyi

Other then having the 100% for sure knowing your oil change was done as properly as can be theirs almost no reason to do it yourself anymore. It used make sense when it cost $20-$30 for oil and an oil change cost $60-$100+ now it cost $50-$60+ for oil and an oil change is $40-$50. Yeah I get it everyone has different vehicles blah blah blah. Point is it’s cheaper for the most part to have it done if not just a little bit more. So it’s much more practical to just pull into a quick stop for a 3 minute oil change then do it yourself now.
