@cgo_of_me: @averyschlereth @Breeeeeeeee @Brittany You can manage hashimotos but you have to treat it like the chronic illness it is #autoimmunedisease #hashimotosthyroiditis #chronicillness
My B12 is always high but I take 3 gummies everyday. My iron though 👎🏼I start infusions this week.

I’m not gluten free and feel good. I tried it and it didn’t do anything. I have to avoid processed foods and glysophate as much as possible. I’m in remission as of this year.

Great advise! Diagnosed with Hashimotos 14 years ago. Went gluten-free 14 years ago. TPO numbers kept going down every blood test. Went into remission and have stayed there , thank God! No thanks to my Dr. but thanks to going on YouTube educating myself after my Dr. said "there's nothing you can do, eventually your thyroid will burn out" her words exactly. She was wrong! In my case Gluten-free was the answer. Be patient , you get used to eating better and you will be so happy!

Dr. Jamie Gilliam, PhD :
Not everyone with Hashimoto’s need to be gluten free. The molecular mimicry is a strong theory, and if it at some point it is proven with research, doesn’t mean it occurs in everyone with Hashimoto’s. There are different triggers and different types of Hashimoto’s. However, no one should be eating copious amounts of gluten, Hashi or not. People should be eating whole quality nutrient dense foods as the bulk of their diet and limiting highly processed foods.

I find that more often than not the people that have attempted to go gluten-free and claim that it doesn’t help our people that don’t really know what gluten is and intern will replace it with a shit and gluten-free snacks that are basically processed carbs.

I went gluten and dairy free and haven’t had a flair up in 2 years!! I also don’t do any kind of hit training. Only weights and walking. Workouts are only 30 to 45 minutes long. Don’t over stress your body!

I have Hashimoto’s, and I’ve been struggling with it, I try to go gluten free, but it is hard to do. And doctors are completely useless with helping me with my issue. I have no problem with going gluten free, and I will keep trying to go gluten free.
