The punishment worse than losing phone privileges was your parents telling your friends when they called WHY you lost said privileges. Brutal. By the way, kid….Harry Styles 2010 called. He wants his hair back. 🙄

The argument that we didn't have phones that could be taken away because we didn't have phones to begin with is the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my entire life! It is certainly not more difficult to temporarily lose a computer in your pocket than it is to never have had that item to begin with.

We could be on a landline and our parent could listen in on a different phone. Sent to our room? My father was so mad once he tied a rope to my bedroom door & attached it to a bathroom door so I was locked in. This kid knows nothing about Gen X.
