I keep my counts pretty accurate in dairy with daily randoms.. inventory day always screws it up 🤦♀️but the team that comes in to enter the counts, their thing is on their side and not even seeing what they type in

I also work at Publix and I work up front as a customer service staff member and watching self-checkout people just scan tea gallons regardless if they have different flavors they have three gallons of scanning one of them three times I try to fix it as much as I see it but that's probably where it's being lost at I really dislike self-checkout.

The inventory guys probably fat fingered an incorrect number or maybe a missing tag lead them to count two+ flavors as that one. They are such a blessing and a curse 😂

it's because the inventory crew counts are wrong. I always have to recount my HBC section. it takes me weeks to fix it.

Sometimes when people checking out at self check out they scan the same item so many times even if they are different flavors or such. They think they are making it easier but it’s so hard. When I check them out at a register they say “oh I got a total of 5 of these” so I go “same flavor?” The looks I get when asking that is shocked
