I think it’s very likely they were using together and both passed out. But only Hayden overdosed, and it’s possible the brother did wake Brian up and when they realized Hayden was unresponsive they could’ve easily called 911 while administering the narcan. Addicts do commonly have narcan on them - that is not weird at all. I’m not saying it’s NOT possible that there could be some other things that could’ve happened, but everyone loves a good story and wants to jump to the craziest conclusion without considering that Hayden was just very broken and WAS an addict. Addicts unfortunately overdose all the time. She just happened to be with her lousy ex at the time.
