I just lost my 9 month old son in a car accident on July 13th. we hydroplanned and I was the driver. I'm only 22 and ai have to live with this for the rest of my life and Im not sure I'll be able too, but I do know that watching your videos help me feel a little less alone, but im so sorry we both have to go through something like this. it changes you completely

Something you gotta know is that yes, you are correct. When you're at a gathering where people know who you are, & know your story, yes, they look at u as the mother that tragically lost her baby boy, but you know what else people are thinking? Wow, look at Kate & how she is out here at this event holding it together for her daughter. Look at Kate putting one foot in front of the other & moving on with her life despite her grief. Look at that strong woman,& amazing mother, Preston must be SO PROUD. People are looking at you with pride & also with understanding & love. I know I would be!

i love you. i see you as katelynn, my cousin. always. i also see you as a strong woman who fights every day. when i think ab the situation, i don’t see you as a sad girl that lost her son. i think about how life isn’t fair that you lost your son. it’s not your identity to me, but of course i feel for you and i wish so badly this didn’t happen to you… you are my cousin. that i love so so much.

I was 28 when my 4 yr old daughter moved to Heaven. I’m now 41. I have come to a place where knowing she is with Jesus and not having to grow up to face ALL the hardships of this world overrides my pain of missing her. I am praying for you 💜

I just stumbled on this video.. and proceeded to look at your videos. I have a daughter and a son. My son is the little one. My heart is so heavy. Your son was so beautiful. Your strength is admirable. Tears roll down my face for imagining the pain of your loss, I pray I never can. But I also pray for your peace and healing . I know you said you have to live the rest of life without him but that little boy lived his whole life with you as his mommy, love is all he knew. ❤️

Baby Preston is in spirit with u he was such a happy baby may he rest in paradise with our father above I understand what u mean with the brain injury the brain blocks out the traumatic parts but the body still has memories itself

my neighbor lost her 8yr old son. she said the same words "to people I'm just the mom with a dead son". As someone close to her i was just happy to see her. Alot of people dont know how to react because they never faced grief their selves. just know the ones that love you should not expect you to act any type of way. they should let you be angry when you need to be angry, let you be sad when you feel sad. Don't perform emotions for others💙

I was in a bad car accident in the 80’s and I still don’t remember much of it. I remember it rolling and thinking when will it stop? It goes very slow. Hang in there honey. He was a special little boy and will forever be missed.

I lost my first daughter , I fell asleep while breastfeeding/bottle feeding her , I was so exhausted (and I felt guilty asking for help) - and I woke up & my daughter was gone , in my arms. And it truly CHANGES you , and I just want to send you SO MUCH LOVE & prayer. Our babies are in Heaven together, dancing in the sky. 👼
