I 100% agree that Elain absolutely deserves a choice and if she doesn’t want it then that’s fine. BUT I think Lucien deserves a proper conversation about it. Imagine being a fae male, knowing mate bonds are rare and typically treasured, only to finally get one with a woman that won’t even give you the time of day. That would be devastating. I think he at least deserves a conversation and properly breaking the bond if that’s what she wants. Hopefully they clear it up in her book one way or another!
