You'd stick with a doctor if you felt comfortable there and taken seriously. “Doctor hopping” is often caused by patients feeling that they aren't taken seriously or that they aren't being treated with enough empathy. Just giving someone a prescription and saying goodbye isn't good care.

actually they can't understand the Lindsey case at all and all what they are screaming about is punishment as if she's not living in hell right now , she can never ever escape the fact that she killed her children not by her will after doing efforts to be a mother I understand Lindsey because I have had a chronic illness since I was a child , I took dozens of medications and still do and can't live like a normal human being I experienced how that doctor doesn't give a shit about you and will make your state go worse i experienced a huge amount of effects cause of medications, they made my life in hell and cause of all that my mental health got worse too and when I wanted help no one gave me because they think I'm exaggerating and yes that's why I'm blaming those shitty doctors for this tragedy even if i sound insane

I was 21 when I was told my depression started from having eldest, I was 17 when I had her! After my youngest I thought PTSD. I’m 48, and finally have diagnosis for my mental health. I was almost correct, cptsd from life is best way to describe, and autism, though high masking (unless I’m around my kid)

There’s a wash out period for meds too, so even when she stopped one some would still have been in her system when she started the new meds.

Doctor hopping, but only taking 4 of the meds. Is the whole purpose of Dr hopping not to gain as many meds as possible to take? Also, maybe she forgot to mention that the drug that was in high quantities in Lindsays system were actually the drugs she had stopped taking weeks prior because she didnt like how they made her feel. The same drugs good old Pat was keeping in his truck, for weeks, for no apparent reason. No Dr ever tells your partner to keep a hold of old meds for you. Never.

its actually driving me crazy (ironically) how fucking awful ppl are being like someone is telling me i need help and im tapped because I think a as they put it: "woman with mental health issues shouldn't be charged the same as someone else who did the same crime" ... Yeah i dont think ANYONE in a mental health episode at the time of a crime should be treated the same as someone else within a criminal trail because that mental health issue impacted their behaviour. but no im the stupid one for seeing nuance and greyness within a complex situation
