@mrmbb333: This fire went from small to massive in a matter of hours. The Hawk Fire erupted outside Reno today and rapidly exploded to an estimated 2,500 acres with ZERO containment. Now residents north and northwest of Somersett and north of Verdi are under GO NOW evacuation orders. More communities are being warned to get ready. Fire crews say it is still spreading rapidly — and the acreage could already be higher.
