just give up and get better for yourself, it’s not worth the wasted effort. i sent paragraph after paragraph and i eventually had to distance myself. no amount of love and effort will bring them back. i finally set boundaries and began no contact. nothing from her for nearly 4 months. idk if i’ll ever hear from her again but all i know is i feel leagues better. i couldn’t do the friends thing afterwards; even then, the effort from her was lacking when we used to be so close. i couldn’t pretend and half-ass it. i never half-assed anything with her, and i refuse to do it now. i’d rather never speak to her again than have something fake or forced. i hope she does well in life, but i need someone to love me like i love others. i am done being a choice, and i want someone to fight to keep me and be so afraid to lose me that they WOULD feel it’s worth it to change for me. take care, it will get better soon.
