A biddah is an innovation in the religion, ie and innovation in the way you worship, rituals the prophet never did, doing things you believe will bring you closer to Allah that are not apart of the Quran and sunnah. The things you referred to are simply advancements. Sure you can refer to the as innovations but not innovations in the religion. Things that simply make worship easier, such as advancements in technology and architecture are not considered innovations in the religion. So things like Printing the Qur’an, Using microphones for the adhān or ṣalāh, Building larger mosques,Using apps to read Qur’an or study ḥadīth, Compiling and organizing books of ḥadīth,Modern transportation to reach the masjid are new worldly means or developments, not necessarily religious innovations. They may facilitate worship without themselves being acts of worship that someone believes were prescribed by Allah. The important distinction is what is being introduced: a new means of carrying out an established act is different from inventing a new act of worship or assigning a specific religious virtue to something without evidence.

he is misguiding the people upon what innovation is. innovation has everything to do with acts of worship.. not the design of prayer rugs and masjids.

is this guy raigebaiting? what are these examples 🤣 honestly man on the topic of mawlid the only correct logical argument is the prophet didn't specifically order us to practise it, so why risk getting sins IF its biddah and when u dont practise it u dont get sins and u dont get good deeds icl id rather not sin and not get good deeds then potentially sin while thinking im getting good deeds

Imam al-Shafi’i stated that newly invented matters are divided into two distinct categories based on whether they agree or disagree with core Islamic sources. One is blameworthy and the other is praise worthy.

Mister S :
The Prophet Muhammad's warning against innovation was specifically directed at matters of religious ritual and creed introduced without basis ("Every newly invented matter is an innovation..."), rather than worldly means, technology, or evolving social structures.

Some nice points bro. Just a small question.. all of those things you mentioned including the compilation of the Quran.. I’d like to know.. who from the Sahaba and 4 imams called all of these things Bidah Hasanah? For the last 10 years no one has answered this question but I’m confident you will be able to. Please only focus on the points mentioned in your video. جزاك الله خيرا

There is a clear distinction between innovations of worldly matters versus those things that we claim or believe bring us closer to the sunnah

what scare me the most is that there are some muslims who would think that he has point and hes wright. those examples he gave here has nothing to to with islam. even those who practices bidaa will tell u that u dont gain good deeds if u paint a row inside the masjid or you use a microphone to lead the prayer or khutbah

brother, my understanding is that the minarets and carpets are permissable as they are not innovations in deen, as for compiling of the quran, it had already started to be written down at time of prophet Mohammad pbuh, and the prophet told us to follow his companions, they are mentioned in the quran as the rightly guided people, they had been promised jannah, so we have been told to follow them, the mawlid was started by shia, this is the difference brother
