I’ve seen a LOT of controversy in the comments and i’m just going to address it as a whole here because it’s brain numbing to respond to hundreds of comments. This video is NOT about redeeming villains for being supportive, this video is about the fact that such vile constructions can still recognize the importance of someone’s identity and respect it. I said in the comments a few times things revolving around killer ≠ monster; this isn’t in reference to chucky specifically. I do think chucky is a monster, which is why i chose a clip or him. When i say that, i mean this solely: monster is subjective, someone could believe queer people to be monstrous, someone else might not. I say this because in my opinion a killer who solely kills bad people is not a monster. I didn’t say it to defend chucky, i was only saying it because i kept getting comments about the clip. Im not defending chucky, im just saying there’s a difference between someone who’s a monster and someone whos a killer— you can be a monster and not a killer, and you can be a killer but not a monster.
