for sure treating the low stomach acid is a needed first step!!! apparently stomach acid is SO important for digesting food but also your overall body ph 😂😳 you can help your body naturally produce more in some ways, but you may need the supplement for awhile. i’m so sorry you feel crappy friend 😭

Every functional medicine “Practitioner” says it’s low stomach acid. Spend THOUSANDS of dollars entertaining that and finally went to a real GI doc and had the testing and it was high and they were making it worse.

Yes!!! I take digestive bitters but it helped a TON. When it comes to SIBO you have to treat the root cause or it will likely come back.

Digestive enzymes are essential to all the other things mentioned below. They must be HIGH quality no cheap ish. Apple cider vinegar (absolutely gross but it helps) pre/pro/post biotics (again high quality.

What I have found is the mind gut connection is huge! The more I thought about it the worse my stomach got and then the my anxiety would get worse. It was a vicious cycle. The best thing u can do is lower your stress and try not to think about it. Ik it’s so hard

Yes 100% for many reasons. 1. You swallow bacteria that is not able to be killed. 2. Food is not being broken down so more food for bacteria. 3. less stomach acid = less bile = less enzymes
I’m taking a digestive enzyme and products from Silver Fern.

Yes low stomach is part of the development of SIBO. But so is bile flow. When all of this goes in the toilet, iron stops moving which is why the fatigue, most likely.
