Thank the gods someone else realizes what’s going on. RN the entire internet is just glazing Walmart for this new change, how awesome it is etc. Tap to pay has existed for well over a decade, if they wanted to do this they had ample opportunities to over the last 12+ years. They’ve realized how much money they’ve lost out from customers who’d just leave once they saw tap wasn’t an option. The current economy isn’t helping either so they’re *grasping* at any straws of profit the shareholders are scared. They’re already losing a ton of revenue due to Snap changes as well. This is not them being kind, it’s about profit.

they lock everything in cages, no workers around to unlock the cage, for a car item that I parked in the automotive side to quickly be in and out, but they locked the side doors so I had to go all the way back around just to come back out and get it from autozone instead
