I once had a lot of friends. I lost my grandpa and all them slowly faded away when they realized i wasnt myself but didnt check on me mind you one of them was there for my last phone call with him when i knew he was gonna pass and i cried so hard but when he passed not one person besdies my girlfriend checked on me people only wanted me around if it benefits them

I still remember the days when me and my friends were all classmate and every group projects Im always the one asking and getting ignore, I just stand there smiling at everyone waiting for anyone to be my partner or to let me join their group but as always I just looked like a fool there.

I mentioned this. got told that wasn’t true. I blamed myself for a while, thinking by maybe I was just overthinking, overreacting even. but then, I found out there was another group chat shortly after. haven’t been added bc they said it was used to talk about stuff I wasn’t interested in. but, then why did our main group chat go radio silent? why do plans get made and I not get invited or considered? topics get talked about together and it seems like everyone knows what each other is talking about but me? but no, I was overreacting right? when I told them I wasn’t anyone’s favorite in the group? that in a room full of people or if we got lined up and told to choose one friend none of them would go for me? I rlly hope this comment finds no one. but if it does, just know I tried to fix things, and now we don’t talk and if we do, it isn’t the same. I rarely get a text and it isn’t even to chat. I can text to but I’d rather not seem desperate or friend hungry. I tried talking and pointing out my side but ended up being made to feel like I was the one to blame. my points? pushed to the side. But it’s okay. I do have my friend yearning moments but I’ve learned that my best company is myself and my family. and who knows maybe someday, someone will choose me in a room full of their other friends.
