Used a mod for Cyberpunk 2077 new game plus. It was not janky at all like most mods, it felt like a natural addition. It also gave you the option to skip the prologue either starting from Sandra Dorsett or from the scrapyard/apartment after the heist. Very useful for those who thought skipping option to Phantom Liberty was too far.

I wish cyberpunk had a new game plus cause I like collecting stuff but you cannot collect every single icon weapon in one run and that annoys me. I think it could be like how it is now but just add an option of New game plus because currently it’s I think it’s finished or start again I don’t remember exactly what it says

I loved the Alan Wake 2 NG+. there is a plot reason for it, and just going through that game again with hindsight is such a cool experience. probably one of the only NG+ I ever actually completed

this might be a controversial opinion, but I don't actually like new game plus. games are built on the progression of the character and the abilities and the challenges, and the stories usually reflect this. so the idea of getting all weapons and upgrades early on in the game just kind of affects the flow of the game for me.

I would throw the original Legend of Zelda into the conversation as well. You don't get to keep your items in the second quest, but the actual game is different instead of just being harder - dungeons are different and the entrances are in different locations, items and upgrades are not in the same location that they were in the first quest, etc.

Nothing against new game +, but I never got why would you want to play with everything unlocked. Getting all these lvls ang gear is too big part of the game to abandon for me

Not so much a new game + but the capcom arcade game gave you codes that allowed you to carry your game on from your level. Not unusual for any home consoles. But this was a arcade game. Also some neogeo arcade machines had the neogeo memory card slot so you could take your arcade game save home and continue on the home neogeo AES system.

wouldn't super Mario land on the Gameboy be. considered the first game with ng+? you don't keep any items because it's a Mario game, but I remember that once you beat the game it put you back to the beginning with even more enemies than the first playthrough
