we're neurodivergent at home too and there's also a shitload of clutter and trash around the house that we should get rid of. problem: I have two auto immune diseases that does not allow me to do more than 15 minutes of cleaning/decluttering/organizing. I'm dripping in sweat and panting because of the effort it takes me to lift my arms and do simple things. I used to be strong but now I cannot do anything 😢

As a member of an ND family, the struggle is real. Unless you grew up with systems for organizing, cleaning and decluttering, it's so hard to implement.

as a french person, i never quite understood why carpet floors are so popular in the USA, because it's way harder to clean, it keeps dust mites (which a lot of people are allergic to), dust, crumbs too easily 😭 i am not blaming these people at all, just pointing out that this is a cultural difference i never quite understood

As a neurodivergent I have learned that because I’m not organized I have too much stuff. Because maybe I bought that measuring tape before but when I can’t find the measuring tape I have to buy a new one. This same thing with all the stuff in your home and that’s how it gets this bad. Organizing and STAYING organized is hard when we all work full time here and we’re busy, tired and overwhelmed.
