@taylor.godinez: A tidy home isn’t always about cleaning more. Sometimes it’s about creating less to clean up. Think about how clutter usually starts… You walk in and drop the mail on the counter. Your bag gets tossed on a chair. Shoes get kicked off by the door. A package gets opened and the box sits there “for now.” None of those things feel like a big deal in the moment. But give it a few days and suddenly you have an entire pile that needs your attention. One of the simplest habits I’ve built is to finish the task while it’s already in my hand. Shoes come off → put them away. Mail comes in → sort it immediately. Trash → straight to the trash. Something needs to be kept → put it where it belongs. It usually takes seconds. And I’d much rather spend 30 seconds putting things away now than spend 30 minutes dealing with a pile later. You don’t have to constantly clean your house to keep it tidy.
