Because regardless of how broken my heart feels, these babies still need me. Bills still need to be paid. Life still has to keep moving. Nobody sees the tears I hold back while I’m working. Nobody sees the strength it takes just to get out of bed, get dressed, and show up when all I really want to do is stay home and grieve. I’m learning that being a widow doesn’t mean I get to stop being Mom. So I keep showing up… even on the days when I’m barely holding myself together. 🥺💜 I’m working through the pain because my children still need me.
