Oklahoma actually had this on a vote to raise minimum wage to $15 and they voted against it in June. This is why education matters… they are 50th and voted against their own interests because it was a red vs blue issue.

My 17 year old daughter makes the same minimum wage I did 20 years ago! Yet gas and everything has went up astronomically in 20 years. So how would increasing it be the reason for inflation? Inflation already happened

I’ve got a bachelors and masters degree and still live at home and can’t afford a house in the near future. I’ve worked since I was 12 babysitting, umpiring, receptionist, bussing/hosting, and have taught for 7 years as an elementary teacher and still live at home.

In my home state the minimum wage is $5.15. The only reason people get paid $7.50 is because of the federal minimum wage
