fair across the board yes but also the board includes the people that doesn't pay taxes.. so they both right here if u will talk about being fair then include everyone! how a 70yr old person RETIRED has to still pay taxes on their SS benefits but some 30yr old people out there are not paying any taxes at all because they r getting every state and federal assistance that exists including rent

Yes, as a very wealthy person, you will have a huge tax bill. But you also still get to take home a HUGE amount of money! They always come out the gate with, “The ultrawealthy pay more taxes than anyone else.” Yes, that’s true. And they also have and make more money than anyone else!! Taxation should be more or less directly proportional to income, not “well I pay a lot so I shouldn’t have to pay any more.”
