In this video, I answer an intense comment we got. It was left on my recent video, the one where I shared the study a follower named Trisha sent me, about children who survive drowning and how aware they truly are. Cory wrote:
In this video, I answer an intense comment we got. It was left on my recent video, the one where I shared the study a follower named Trisha sent me, about children who survive drowning and how aware they truly are. Cory wrote: "No offense but that's an even scarier supposition. If a person is in there, hearing things and feeling emotions but has absolutely zero ways of expressing anything, but are basically behind a wall, and on the other side of the wall is the world and the people in it interacting together, and there's no way to get messages to the other side. I can't think of a worse existence. Let us hope these people are blissfully unaware of what is going on. I think it's more merciful to let them go." Here is my answer: Every life matters, River is not on any life support, and if you opened your mind and heart to see beyond what you think River can express, you would see that anyone with a disability has value, no matter how much they can outwardly express. Some of our most beautiful moments in life are the ones we spend with the ones we love, no matter what we actually do. We feel each other's energy, and spending time together is a blissful experience in itself. I also want to highlight what some people wrote in River's defense: Cindy wrote: "River's spirit is inside his body. He is very much alive… There are disabled children and people everywhere and they have a purpose and deserve to live just like anyone else." Amanda said what a stranger thinks "should or shouldn't happen to this lovely little boy is irrelevant." Thank you for your wisdom and for standing up for River. River is in there. I've always known it. 💙 -James #HeartsWithRiver #RiverIsInThere #ConradSyndrome #BrainInjuryAwareness #DisabilityAwareness
