as a cancer patient myself i turned exactly like him the self sabotage, self hatred, isolation, hiding my face from everyone, may be happy and making joking about it because im in remission now but ill always be that terrified 17 year old (im 18 now) I still am i will always be her. i havent told a single person in my family how I truly feel/felt just told them I was okay but cryed myself to sleep a mental battle, just used humor to cover it up,

Deadpool is the only charecter I came across to whom I can relate to in the way I handle grief. he takes everything with humor, makes fun of himself and the situation but it still affects him badly mentally. I love him so much

the Deadpool mask is the only thing that keeps his sanity because he's been thought too much. his story is so cruelly sad and nobody and just se people actually likes him for his plot and a deep-written character... so he use the happiness has a copy mechanism by Deadpool because actually without that mask he'll just sterminate people randomly.

he's the character ment for those who's enemies are themselves, not mean to the world because they're angry with everyone else but angry to what means the most to them as a way of self punishment. causing the things he truly loves to be what becomes his down fall because he doesn't see himself as good enough to deserve it

might be an odd comment but my rescue bird reminds me of him. he can't stand to be alone and will scream and be hellishly annoying when ignored, but he can't be kept with others because he bites and doesn't understand boundaries. he wants love and attention more than anything but can't help repelling his peers because of behaviors he doesn't know how to control

you try and try to be seen as good to be seen but they see the bad the ugly the mistakes, they see what makes you a freak, they look at you and tell you you need to be cured. you dont want to be a burdern for the ones you love and end letting them dissapointed on you for being a coward, you burry all the pain on a part of you to not have to feel it again because it still torments you and laugh it off because its easier and safer. You get seen mean for it, as if you went crazy for keeping being yourself after no one liking it (im yapping ok)
