Statistically speaking pits ARE a violent breed and are responsible for a disproportionately large amount of attacks. Just because your dog is fine, doesn’t change that.

oh hell naw, those owners should've been held 100% responsible and severely punished. You hired someone to come watch your dogs and those dogs ended up brutally mauling her to death. The indirectly got her killed. that is such bs. I feel so sorry for the sitter and her family

yes, I am fully fucking aware that this does happen with pitbulls a lot, however what people need to realize is it is not the fucking breed it is the goddamn owner. we have had two pits, that lived their entire fucking life happy, healthy, and sweet as peaches... stinky, but sweet. Pitbulls are probably one of the most influential breeds. our other two dogs behave, but nowhere near as good as our pits were, especially in their old age.

Blame the owners for lack of training pit bulls or any aggressive breed social skills not the pit. Caroline is a pit and professionally trained to do psychiatric services for me and everyone loves her.

I’m sure this is gonna make people rage but I’ve been around pit bulls since I was born and it’s all in the way you raise them one of the calmest and best breeds when taken care of yall try to make it seem like it’s the breed but in all reality it’s the people raising them I’ve seen more bites from small dogs and the “golden” retriever no dog is perfect but if you know how to love and care for one they will do anything for you

Somebody should file a lawsuit because they knew their dogs were aggressive, and they hired a pet sitter without probably telling her that they have aggressive behaviour. I hope somebody file a lot lawsuit.

Im SO tired of hearing the excuses for pitbulls. just a month ago one tried mauling my parent's golden retriever when she was out on a walk. the thing pushed the entire chain link fence it was behind up like a curtain. We also owned a pitbull years ago, and she was loved and trained, but one day she saw my sister sleeping in a bed and decided to latch onto her face for absolutely no fucking reason. My sister still has those scars. Quit making excuses and wake up. I'm being brief, I have more stories to tell.
