Probably just needs some premium air and blinker fluid 👌🏻

The spark plugs didnt look too too bad but still i'd suggest pull the motor and get everything done in one run that way it isnt a headache or cause further damage later down the line

on the Porsche, if you were actually low on coolant it will automatically peg the gauge as like a scare tactic to make you check it

Fix the coolant leak and your good bro. You’re wasting your time. If the compression is low the engine would be misfiring.

Flush the cooling system and replace the thermostat before checking health of engine.

if its burning coolant in the combustion chamber the cylinders and piston would be super clean typically, steam cleaned. plugs look good.

Full refresh, upgrade the turbos and and a small tune. Honestly this journey is lessening my fear of owning this car in the future. Can’t wait to see how everything turns out in the end.

Porsche mechanic here. if you pull the motor do it all. the plugs looked fine. not excessive carbon on them or oil burning. don't really see a point in pulling the motor unless you have other issues at this point you can do everything that needs to be done with it in the car, but if you do pull it down the turbos the whole mine yards Y- pipe coolant lines everything

honestly tbh there's no need to pull the motor if the compression test was fine and the engine pulls.
1. the plugs looked fine, if they were completely white it would be lean, black would mean it's rich l. there was some oil residue on them which tells me the valve covers might be on their way out.
2. the bore scope looked ok, looks like some oil getting by, but not too concerning and no bore scoring which is the best.
3. pressurize the cooling system with a harbor freight kit and see where the coolant is coming from.
4. clean the shit out of the engine both up top and underneath and just drive the car and see where the oil leak is coming from. I'm going to say with the age and mileage of the car that the valve covers and breather hoses up top are leaking. I'm also going to assume the engine mounts are shot and leaking as well, just an assumption lol

Just to let you know Porsche when it has a leak in the system it shows that it’s overheating just to put the engine in safe mode but in reality it’s not overheating

On that motor very well known that the Y pipe which sits between the intake and exhaust manifold and the engine block which the antifreeze fluid moves through cracks and leaks (it’s literally made of plastic) as well there are one or two other coolant hose connections that are prone to starting to dislodge from the Bloch since they are glued in from the factory in that year engine. So a minimum you need to pull the top half of the motor off to deal with those issues and fix your coolant leaking problem.
