@fazli.rahmat: I recently visited the old JTC industrial blocks along Eunos Avenue 8, Blocks 1001, 1002 and the rows of smaller industrial units beyond them. What was once a working industrial estate filled with workshops, warehouses and businesses now sits almost completely empty. Walking through it felt strangely surreal. But the more I looked into this place, the more I realised this story isn't really about an "abandoned" industrial estate. It's about change. As Singapore continues to evolve, land that once served one generation may eventually be needed for something completely different. And with parts of the wider Eunos area transitioning away from their industrial past towards residential use, places like this offer a fascinating glimpse into that transition. Someone once came here every morning to work. Years from now, this landscape could serve an entirely different purpose. Maybe that's the strange thing about abandoned places in Singapore. Sometimes they're not really abandoned.
