Honey BBQ Chicken Tenders 🍯 My wife said that restaurant chicken is better than mine. I think she just wanted me to cook her dinner. The sauce takes these to another level, so don’t skip it 🙂‍↔️ 👉 full detailed recipes in bio 🔗 — RECIPE: Chicken (Dry Brine): 6–8 tenders tossed with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika. Rest uncovered in the fridge for at least 2 hours (overnight is best). Seasoned Flour + Wet Batter: Mix AP flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, black pepper + pinch MSG. Move ~⅓ to another bowl and whisk with cold sparkling water until thin pancake batter. Double Dredge: Mix 1–2 tbsp wet batter into dry flour for craggly bits. Coat chicken: wet → dry → wet → dry (press to stick). Fry: 350°F oil for 4–6 mins until golden + CWISPY (and 165F internal). Honey BBQ Glaze: Heat BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s), honey, butter, vinegar, hot sauce until smooth + glossy. Season to taste. Toss or brush chicken with glaze while it’s still hot.
