@cameo_labs: Claude Skills make a lot more sense once you stop thinking about them as “better prompts.” A Skill is an executable set of instructions that Claude pulls in when your request matches what the Skill was built to do. So instead of writing: “First do this. Then check this. Use this format. Follow these rules. Reference these examples. Don’t forget these five things…” every single time, you build the instructions once. Then your prompt might be as simple as: “Turn this transcript into a LinkedIn post.” Claude recognizes the task, loads the relevant Skill, and follows the workflow you already defined. That is where Skills get useful. You can build them for things like: content creation document review research client reports proposal writing data analysis quality control recurring internal workflows If you have a task where you keep giving Claude the same instructions, it is a strong candidate for a Skill. Comment “SKILL” and I’ll send you my full guide to building and using Claude Skills. #ClaudeSkills #ClaudeAI #AIProductivity #AITools #artificialintelligence
