I reached out to let my family know I'm not ok, now they don't talk to me. Black mental health is like taboo conversations. They love to say you need to pray. I'm homeless and the trauma I've been dealing with makes it worse.

I live in London and wow, Jason had relentless press coverage. the right wing papers were banging on about dei... there were nearly 300 articles about him - including from the BBC - in his last 3 weeks. it was unacceptable. he DID NOT plagiarise. Cambridge had a duty of care and instead of backing him up, they opened an investigation. tgey shouldn't have accepted his resignation. it's terribly sad.

Rest in Love, Professor Jason Arday 🕊️While at Durham in 2021, Dr. Arday (that’s how I addressed him) offered to do a Zoom call with my autistic students. As an EHCP class of 8 boys, we were in school during the lockdown. Our class wrote one-paragraph or one-sentence research projects about Dr. Arday. He was kind to me and my class and I am saddened this has happened to him. Rest in peace, Dr Arday ♥️Much love to his family and friends.
