Simple things like having books available at home. It's astonishing to see how many homes don't have books. One neighbor said they bring cockroaches. 😂

I agree. 100%. 💯. Exposure and involved parent, is definitely a recipe. I always tell my children they are the smart , however, if they don’t do daily habits of smart kids, they are not using their brain fully, habits like reading daily, 15 minutes practicing maths, periodic table is on the wall, I explained to them before it was introduced at school, I remind them that daily habits outside classroom is also more important, because in the classroom, is about reinforcing what they have practiced at home, exposure also besides books, going with them to sci-bono, science-expo, going to Necsa science week to understand nuclear, and medicinal uses, daddy taking them to work to see what engineers do daily, as an engineer, not just reading only, but intentionally exposing them outside classroom, buying financial management books 📚 for teens. One thing I know and noticed, teachers can also kids who are exposed and whose parents are involved.
