@phiwa.the.long.vi: The Eastern Cape family tree is much bigger than the label “Xhosa.” AmaXesibe trace through Njanya. AmaQwathi came from the amaXesibe branch and later lived among abaThembu. AmaBomvana trace through a different branch, through Nomafu, eventually Bomvu and Njilo. Hi Sisi, thanks for the interesting narration. Just minor corrections, Nomafu’s son was Ngwane (not Ngwana). Also Ngwane’s son was Mbomvu (nor Bomvu). I think these small errors in names are due to the fact that our history was written by non Africans and got our names wrong!

Could you please explain further on amaQwathi coming from uXesibe. Ndingu Mqwathi, ndikhule ndizazi ndingu Mthembu but I have recently learnt in a lot of history content such as this video that singama Xesibe kahle kahle but andikayi qondi ncam.
