@to_travel_back: Elm Hill feels like walking around 16th century Tudor Norwich. The area was rebuilt almost entirely after a huge fire in 1507 destroyed the medieval city apart from one house, The Britons Arms built in 1347 which still stands as the oldest house in Norwich. This cobblestone lane holds more surviving Tudor timber framed buildings than the entire city of London. It fell into slum status during the Victorian era and luckily was voted to restore rather than knock down.
