@nominthailand: Beaches In Thailand 🇹🇭 You may remember the Bang Tao Beach crackdown earlier this year, when authorities took action against businesses over alleged encroachment onto public beachfront land. I’ve been back to see what’s changed. Many of the businesses affected remain closed, while the situation surrounding the beachfront continues to develop. The 16 businesses named in the investigation included The Wave Phuket, Ember Steak House, Maya Beach Club, Bud Haven, A-Loma Massage, Reggae Bar, Tiki Shack Bar & Restaurant, MAMBA, Yuuhi Beach Club, Beach Pig, Solis Beach Club, ALOMA, ALOMA Bang Tao, Blue Ocean Restaurant & Bar, Golden Fish and Nomad Beach Club Phuket. we were coming next year and have cancelled the holiday in that area and moved the location. I appreciate it if things are illegal then sort that but if you close them then take it back to its original state. this is an absolute mess and an environmental disaster. so sad.

Hi Nom. We are in Bang Tao 10 days into our 2 week stay. We went to the Lazy Coconut, GOAT and today the unbelievable Rava,,, all open but the beach is very very quiet. We had Maya on our list before we came but have just rearranged and have three gorgeous days!!! Xx
