it's the same with every band nowadays smh, either "wow this new album sounds exactly like their last album" or "ew they tried something new and it doesn't sound like the songs I've been listening to on repeat for the last 4 years". there is no middle ground

Saturnz Barz is genuinely one of my favorite songs bc of the combination of vocals. 2D sounding lost and literally haunted (which the music video matched beautifully) but the line where he’s singing “In a mirrored world, are you beside me? All my life?” And for some reason that delivery just scratches my brain so good
