Getting Disability Living Allowance for a child can sometimes open the door to **more financial support**, and many parents don't realise they may need to make separate claims. Depending on your circumstances, you could potentially getextra Universal Credit for a disabled child, Carer’s Allowance if your child receives the middle or highest rate of the care component and you provide at least 35 hours of care a week, and Carer’s Credit in some circumstances.
