It upsets me when I see people doing ghost hunting excursions into asylums now because it's like if they don't understand the truth, they just think it was one random doctor doing crazy experiments. When in reality it's so much heavier than that. Same thing with cemeteries. Like they're not haunted from the dead bodies peacefully buried there, they're haunted from whatever they were before the cemetery. Those of us with the understanding of what actually happened need to anchor the truth in those spaces and maybe that will help the land heal, you know? I look absolutely crazy most of the time. Screaming at buildings as I drive by "I know what happened, I know your truth. Let's start again" with my hand held out to feel their energy. Idk why this video made me feel all that, but yeah. Keep showcasing them because people need to understand.

Use to be more then what’s there now. Use to be houses up behind the water tower there and houses and other buildings down in the frisbee golf course below the vets home lots of tunnels connecting everything through the park and going up the hill to the vets home.

When it was still the Cochran house my uncle managed it. I live in the neighborhood. Down the street is the Leduc Mansion.

That wasn’t the insane asylum. Those buildings were located on the grounds of the current CP Adams Park which is across the street.

Many more state hospitals in Minnesota even. Faribault and Cambridge were for mentally handicapped/epilepsy, and there was also Brainerd, Moose Lake, Willmar (also for “inebriates”)

Look up the history of the Van Duke mansion in Hastings! Wonder what the dates are now by comparison and if they functioned together at all?
