This label was so misleading. Smoked salmon and olive oil could be a D but ultra processed Nestle cereal could be B because they added 11 vitamins and you can eat them in larger amount without exceeding your sodium limit.

Romania officially banned the Nutri-Score label in 2023! It was making ultra-processed diet sodas look healthier than olive oil or nuts. Completely misleading.

The Nutriscore is extremely misleading imo. It has the name nutri score, nutritional score, but doesnโt tell you whether a product is healthy overall. It just tells you how favorable its nutritional composition is based on certain nutrients. But that Skala is completely pointless if you compare nut-nougat-creams for example, because all of them will be unhealthy, one may have more nuts in it than the other and will be C instead of D, but youโre still eating ultra processed fats and sugars. They should change it to an actual nutritional score, telling you whether or not a product is healthy A or extremely unhealthy E.

anyways, my concentrated sugar-free cola syrup has a C rating. it's literally just sweeteners and flavorings to be diluted with water. it doesn't need a nutritional label.

Nutri score is biased by giant corporations that should be boycotted like Nestlรฝ. Instead we should use NOVA.

The issue is that it's not very understandable for consumers. It ranks the products in their category which means that some sweets can even get A rating as they are not as bad as other sweets in the same category.
