Its the message and the actions of the messenger. If the person doing it is known to be a hateful person then it shouldn't be accepted, If its genuine comedy like White Chick's or RDJ in Tropic Thunder then people can look past what theyre seeing and just hear the comedy.

With RDJ, the joke was mocking Hollywood actors being out of touch and doing anything for a role, as well as Hollywood executives doing anything but hiring an actual black actor. Thats why it was ok, because it was meant to be absurd and a commentary. The joke wasn't "haha RDJ funny black man mocking black people who are butt of joke haha"
