They act like this is such a radical concept. If two ppl need a heart transplant, it will go to the person that has the better chance of a future and improved outcomes. It may sound callous but there would be no point in giving the heart to someone that has a poor prognosis, short life expectancy with little to no chance of improving even with the heart. These decisions are made every single day and that's with ppl who actually exist already.
