The dots that are colored are great color keys too. My grandma used them to coordinate thread and other colors when she made pillows etc. I love this tho, I never knew!! 💕

To be fair, while these can be used for this that’s not their intended purpose. These are registration marks used in the printing process. The fact that it can help you align things up is just an added unintended bonus

Those are actually printing markers. Their job is to make sure that everything is printed straight and the colors are aligned. But I am happy that they also help in other way :)
