On the way to work, I looked in my rearview mirror and immediately noticed the full moon. If you're a teacher, you know when it's a full moon without even having to see it! 😂 Anyhow, a full moon is often viewed negatively in education, when in reality, a full moon is one of the most captivating sights in nature. It reminds me that the moon changes. It goes through phases, sometimes appearing full and bright, other times just a tiny sliver, and sometimes seemingly disappearing altogether. Yet, it is always there. Maybe teaching is a little like that. Some days our classrooms are full of light, laughter, and little victories. Other days feel a little darker, a little heavier, and harder to navigate. Our students change, grow, struggle, and find their way through their own phases, too. But just like the moon, a difficult phase doesn't define the whole picture. Every phase has its purpose, every season brings growth, and even when we don't see the light, it doesn't mean it's not there. So the next time someone blames the full moon for a crazy day at school, maybe we should remember just how beautiful a little change can be. 🌕 PS. I took this picture upon arriving at work. #fullmoon #moon #crazy #education #inspirational
