@catsinafrica: She was the smallest one. 💔 The other cats pushed her away from the food, and she was slowly being left behind. When we found her, her left eye was completely sealed shut from infection. She was weak, sick and struggling to survive. She was so small that we honestly don’t know how much longer she would have made it. So we took her with us. To the vet. To get treatment. To get medication. And, most importantly, to get a chance. For the next 10 days, Najat will stay with one of our volunteers, who will make sure she gets her medicine, food and care. Then she will return to the vet for vaccinations and further treatment. If she becomes strong enough, she may return to her colony. But if she discovers that she is happier and safer with her foster family, perhaps she has already found her new home. ❤️ Her name is Najat. It means salvation — being saved.
