This year I started buying from a butcher who gets meat from 2 well established local farms. Who can trust getting meat shipped in by some idiot who wont even disclose where it’s coming from. Funny how it comes on the heels of massive US recalls.

Don't eat fast food, especially fast beef. Find a local co-op. A great way to be connected to the community, if you're not already. Maybe you'll find a few open minded souls there. If no co-op then maybe a health food store or a place that sells grass fed beef & free range chicken. Stay healthy, we need you.

I make my own ground beef from good quality beef cuts. I freeze them most of the way for easy cutting and processing. Then cut them into 3/4 inch pieces and chop about 1/4 lb at a time in my Thermomix on turbo or speed 7. It’s very fast like seconds. I don’t like the texture too fine. I grind any meat this way…that way I choose the fat and the meat …I know exactly what I am eating. I never tried it in a blender

I would be more worried that it was horse. fortunately we have working food standards in the UK. unfortunately mango mussolini has got rid of most of your checks and balances
