The number of Target and Walmart employees that qualify for Medicaid would blow your mind. We then give both those companies all kind of tax breaks that’s is an issue NOT FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR CHILDREN!!!!👏👏👏

I work in NYC. Every child and every school gets free breakfast and free lunch. I don’t even know of the cost to the city. It’s ridiculous. But, if a teacher wants to buy lunch, that cost $7. Not that you want to eat that. Lol but everything in New York is ass backwards. I’m not saying that lunch should be expensive for parents, but it could be very inexpensive and help the city. I have three years left. Sadly, because I loved teaching for 28 years, I have three years left. 🙏🏼

I am 100% for it, in SC I work for a school. Some of the kids here who receive the meal is the only meal they get per day. During the summer student can get a meal from the school also.

Also, lol, because now I am on a rant, every parent that can afford their Range Rover, the nails done every week, and/or the very expensive sneakers, should be able to pay five dollars a week for lunch. And not many kids eat breakfast, but they can if they want to! So many kids have two breakfasts because they want hang out with their friends. Oyyyy. lol. However, I do understand why some parents need free lunch or breakfast. We had that for many years. Just mentioning about. Have a good year!

Another socialist policy. We have gone so far left since the 60’s. Sorry, I don’t think I should pay for parenting, which is basically what schools are doing. Lord knows the proficiency results indicate they are not getting educated. Boarding school and end this nonsense of the last 60 years.
