@sbiery: I’ve watched a few accounts where women are going through similar and they seem to have to all figured out already. They’re fully leaning into the divorce glow up and seem completely over the betrayal. That hasn’t been my experience. There are so many ups and downs. Sometimes even within the same day. I have sobbed with the most horrifying guttural sounds of dispar I didn’t even know were possible. I have felt completely numb and hopeless. And I’ve felt excitement and confidence. I used to fight the bad feelings, but I’ve learned to let them come. To sit in the worst of it. Because it always passes and I think it makes space for something better.
