I know Japanese but I still pretend I don’t and make them speak to me in English. I been mocked with my Japanese before so I just stopped and they were forced to speak to in English, they struggle so hard and I kept pretending I did not understand what they said. The best part is that most of them who know a bit of English think they are really good and would try to show off. It’s very funny. Now i stopped speaking it unless I’m at work.
