I went into healthcare for benefits, I had the best medical and my gastric bypass surgery was basically free. But of course working for a private Dr who relies on stupid office managers I got fired for being sick and contagious

The RN’s are paid fair as compared to the techs and the techs are doing a lot of work. Those fast food places in my rural area do not pay anything near $20/hr. The food prices are just as high as bigger cities however. Greed.

I guess I'm lucky cuz I have a great team, both techs and nurses. I don't consider them family, but we laugh and joke and they make my dialysis experience easier

I dunno if it’s different because I’m a PD patient, but my PD team has been amazing so far, and have been pretty caring and empathetic. Granted it’s been lucky that about half of them happened to be clients of mine (I’m a body piercer).
