In this video, I break down why I think Cody Rhodes has borrowed HEAVILY from Kazuchika Okada’s Rainmaker presentation and why wrestling fans barely seem to acknowledge it. Okada built the Rainmaker character around luxury, money, arrogance and the feeling that you were watching THE biggest star in the company. Now look at the way WWE presents Cody Rhodes and tell me some of this doesn’t look familiar. I’m not saying wrestlers can never take inspiration from each other. Wrestling has always worked that way.
