She was rude. If I was that young woman or any other young person in the room I wouldn’t ask her anything else. Allow yourself to be approachable then generally educate. The white man called Mia Angelo and she wasn’t so arrogant towards him.

I was raised to respect my Elders, it was always, yes ma'am, & yes sir. As a child I "never" spoke to an adult by his or her first name, it was disrespectful. I raised my kids the same way. If a kid calls me by my first name I say " hey, don't call me by my first name, you don't know me like that".
